The Most Comfortable
Shoes for Work

Designed for 12+ hour days, from boardroom meetings to late-night dinners.

I started this brand because I was obsessed with beautiful, handmade luxury shoes, and frustrated that the ones I spent the most money on ended up being the ones I wore the least. Work is where that frustration matters most...

Why It Matters

If you're standing in a courtroom and your feet are screaming, or you're mid-presentation and all you can think about is when you can sit down, or you're walking into an interview and already planning your exit from your shoes, your focus is not where it needs to be.

Looking right and feeling right have to happen at the same time, especially at work. That's what I set out to fix.

The problems I kept running into, and the ones I hear most from women, were always the same: pain at the ball of the foot, arch fatigue by midday, toe pinching and numbness, heels that slip, and that general feeling of just needing to get them off.

Most pain at the ball of your foot comes down to weight distribution. When your foot isn't fully supported, particularly in heels, your weight shifts forward and loads onto the ball of your foot. We address it with two things working together: high-density foam cushioning built directly into the insole, and a contoured arch support that keeps your weight balanced where it should be.

Our toe box is slightly expanded from what you see in traditional luxury shoes, completely disguised by the way the shoe is cut into a V at the front. We use a softer, more pliable reinforcement than what you'll find in most luxury shoes. The heel cap works the same way: softer than industry standard, designed to grip your heel comfortably from the first wear. And every pair has a full rubber forepart built into the outsole for real traction wherever your day takes you.

Your questions, answered

Why do my feet hurt in expensive heels?

Usually it comes down to two things: the heel pitch pushing your weight forward onto the ball of your foot, and a lack of real arch support letting that load build up over time. Most luxury heels are engineered for how they look, not how your foot actually works. That's the problem I set out to fix when I started this brand.

What heel height is actually wearable for a full work day?

It depends on the shoe, not just the number. A well-engineered 85mm heel can be more wearable than a poorly constructed 50mm one. That said, if you're on your feet all day, I'd start with something in the 45–70mm range and work up from there. The most important thing is that the heel is positioned correctly under your foot, not how tall it is.

What's the best work shoe for someone who can't wear pointed toes?

Start with our round or square-toe styles. The Perfect Round Toe 70 and Perfect Stephanie 45 both have a generously shaped forefoot and an inset block heel, so you get real stability without any crowding at the toes. The Laurel 30 is another great option if you want something closer to a flat.

Are slingbacks appropriate for formal office settings?

Yes, and they're actually my go-to recommendation for summer when you still need a closed toe. A slingback gives you the polish of a pump with a little more air, and the adjustable strap helps when you're moving between outdoor heat and air-conditioned offices and your feet need a little more give.
